One of Byrne Ó Cléirigh's experienced partners, Tom Leonard, has been appointed as the new chairperson of Engineers Ireland's Fire & Safety Division.
Tom has over 20 years of experience in advising on compliance with health, safety and environmental legislation across a range of industries, including the oil & gas, pharmaceuticals, waste management, chemical logistics and food & drink sectors.
He has been a committee member of the Fire & Safety Division at Engineers Ireland for over 10 years. The Division draws its membership from a wide range of sectors and engineering disciplines. It provides a platform for promoting and raising awareness of topics relating to fire protection and health & safety, including regulatory compliance, through a programme of meetings, presentations and seminars.
Tom holds a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering and a Master's Degree in Engineering Science from University College Dublin. He is a Chartered Engineer with Engineers Ireland.
